ON THE ISSUES

The Biden Administration’s insane border policies have created a border crisis. Although Idaho can’t force the federal government into building the wall, Idaho can ensure that it’s not a magnet for people entering our country illegally. That’s why I oppose sanctuary cities, free healthcare, free education, and driver’s licenses to anyone entering our country illegally.

I support lowering taxes by repealing the grocery sales tax. This is especially important in this high-inflation Biden economy. Grocery costs are through the roof and repealing the 6% grocery tax will help all Idahoans. Many people don’t realize that only eight states tax groceries, and Idaho is one of those states. Even California and Massachusetts don’t tax groceries. A state that taxes a person’s food is spending too much money!

I believe in education choice to empower parents and families. This means that money for education should follow the student, and the parents should decide where their children go to school. I trust parents and families to make the best decisions for their children’s education, not government bureaucrats. The parents should choose whether to place their children in government, private, or home schools.

I am a two-time Trump delegate and will cast my vote for him in July at the Republican National Convention. I fully support President Trump’s America First agenda. From securing our borders, ending business crippling regulations, school choice, and energy independence, we must make our country a priority in foreign and domestic policy. Because America cannot afford for businesses to move overseas, we must focus on creating jobs here in the United States, especially in Idaho. As a small business owner, I know first-hand the obstacles everyday Americans go through to keep their doors open.

I believe that the Second Amendment protects all our rights found in the Bill of Rights. We must fight to protect our Second Amendment rights and not allow others to relegate them to second class rights among the Bill of Rights. The Second Amendment also protects our unalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. For these reasons, I will not budge or back down on fighting for Second Amendment rights. I fully support Idaho’s “Castle Doctrine” and “Stand Your Ground legislation.”

Before the United States Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the focus of the Idaho pro-life movement was to get rid of Roe v. Wade. After the United States Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the focus of the Idaho pro-life movement must be to fight against the demands by those who seek to continue abortion in Idaho. I’m 100% pro-life. I believe it’s the duty of our government to protect life that I believe begins at conception. That’s why I’ll fight to protect the life of every unborn child.
