Conservative congressional candidate Bryan Smith raised over $370,000 in the fourth fundraising quarter of 2021. Bryan Smith is challenging anti-Trump, career politician Congressman Mike Simpson in the Republican primary in Idaho’s second congressional district.

Once again liberal Mike Simpson is missing in the fight for our freedom. Much like on protecting the unborn, Simpson is one of the few Republican members of Congress not to oppose federal vaccine mandates.

An amicus brief on a Mississippi abortion law banning abortions after 15 weeks was filed in July 2021 by a large coalition of interested parties, urging the Supreme Court to recognize state government as the proper level of authority to settle controversy on that matter. Over 200 members of Congress signed onto the brief and even the state of Idaho. Mike Simpson was not among those signers.

Idaho Falls Republican Bryan Smith is again seeking to represent Idaho’s second congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Smith announced his candidacy in a Saturday news release. He said in the release that he was running because he felt Rep. Mike Simpson, also an Idaho Falls Republican, has been in office for too long and does not represent Idaho conservative values.
